Story — On this one fine day, the sea sparkled like lemon orange stars under the sun. The bright yellow lemon trees ever-so-softly swayed back and forth against the summer breeze as the mother and her toddler set the rainbow-coloured kites into the air. It dazzled gloriously against the cerulean sky, fluttering in the wind like two dancing ribbons. His birthday was today and all he wanted was to spend the day with his mother. He laid in her arms as they sat down on the stretched out picnic blanket, and out of nowhere, she surprises him with his favourite coconut cupcake from behind. She said, “Make a wish, my boy.” And as he closed his eyes, he desperately wished this day would last forever.
